Melbourne International Arts Festival
Victoria’s flagship arts event : 19 days of world-class theatre, opera, dance, classical and contemporary music, circus, visual arts and outdoor performance.
Jonathan led four festivals totalling 700 performances, 24 commissions, 40 world premieres and 66 Australian premieres. Broke records with over 250,000 attendees and AU$3.5M in ticket sales.

- Philip Glass's La Belle et la Bête (Australian Premiere)
- commission of Tan Dun's Buddha Passion and Yang Liping's Rite of Spring
- Cie Carabosse's Fire Gardens (for 30k people in the Royal Botanic Gardens)
